Fauchon L’Hôtel Paris is a boutique hotel in one of the most glamorous locations in the world: the 8th arrondissement in Paris. Auguste Félix Fauchon opened his market in Place Madeleine in 1886 selling produce grown all over France. So although this hotel opened 1 September 2018, the Fauchon name is steeped in Parisian history.
Situated in two Haussmann buildings from the era of Napoleon III, once you step inside you find the Fauchon style is art, intimate and modern. The rooms have thoroughly modern designs, alternately neutral and pop-arty. And if those pillows aren’t to your taste, then take advantage of the pillow menu.
Open all day, the Grand Café Fauchon, the hotel’s take on the classic French café. The hotel also has its own spa and boutique where you can get a taste of Fauchon’s food expertise. The hotel can also help arrange private experiences such as trips on the river Seine or visits to studios.
The opera of Palais Garnier is within walking distance as are the Louvre and Musée de l’Orangerie. Just across the river is Musée d’Orsay with its fabulous collection of Impressionist art. Fauchon L’Hôtel is a short walk from the site of the first exhibition of the revolutionary Impressionists in 1874.
